The renowned British designer Gareth Neal will be giving a public talk on 11 September in Almaty as part of the British Design Days project. Gareth will also hold master classes for Kazakhstani designers working in the field of industrial design.
The theme of the lecture will be ‘Locality. People. Process. Creating a sense.’ During his speech, Gareth and the local designers will try to answer such questions as ‘what is a local design?’ and ‘how to create a Kazakh chair?’
