On 25 February Music Business Tutor, Youth Education Facilitator and Events Management module leader Dan Tsu (Music Business, BIMM London) will give a public talk at SIGS Space in Almaty. This talk forms part of the third COLISIUM Event Evolution music and events industry conference, which takes place from 23-25 February. 

Theme of his talk: Glastonbury, Festivals and Cultural Innovation: Views from the UK

Glastonbury Festival is the most famous music event in the world. Hear Dan Tsu (BIMM, UK) give an insider’s perspective on event management and artist booking at one of Glastonbury’s most talked about new venues, The Rum Shack. This keynote speech will explore the importance of emerging artists, digital innovation, event production and understanding culture differences to break international markets.

About Dan Tsu

Dan Tsu is an event producer and educator – and the founder and director of Lyrix Organix. Renowned for boundary-pushing events that explore the nexus of live music, poetry and hip hop, to promote youth and charitable causes.

His current portfolio includes Glastonbury Festival (The Rum Shack), UK Beatbox Championships, Brighton Festival, Woodland Trust and The British Council (Sudan, Ethiopia, Moscow). He has also produced major events and tours for the Mayor of London (GLA), London 2012, The Roundhouse and Kings Place.
