Maureen has worked in Education for over almost 40 years in a variety of roles including; careers adviser, academic, trainer, consultant and managerю
In 2009 Maureen was awarded the Chancellor’s Medal for Sustained Outstanding Service to Aston University and in 2016 was presented with the Significant Influence Award by the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory (AGCAS) Services in recognition of her work across the sector.
Maureen continues to work as a consultant and academic associate supporting effective employability provision and practice. She coordinated the HEA 2016 employability summit, developed the audit tools that complement the Embedding Employability and Flexible Learning Frameworks and supported the development of an Impact tool to complement the frameworks. She has conducted HEP employability reviews and developed good practice resources. She is also a member of the Advance HE Employability Expert Panel.
