The British Council in Kazakhstan announces the launch of the second year of the Creative Producers programme. The programme is aimed at developing creative production in the countries of Central Asia. The logical conclusion to the last year of the project was the multidisciplinary festival STYQ Fest, which was created as an open experimental platform for projects and collaborations in the art field.
 
Beginning creative producers with no more than 3 years of work experience of organizing cultural events, art managers and administrators of cultural sites, as well as representatives of creative professions: artists, curators, festival organizers, theater critics and playwrights, directors, dancers, musicians and others with an experience in arranging cultural projects are invited to participate in the programme. We are also looking for partners interested in supporting the programme on a long-term basis and facilitating of creative producers in Kazakhstan.
 
Stages of the programme:
● master classes in Almaty with tutors from the UK
● finalising projects and submitting grant applications (teams formed from the participants in the master classes)
● financial support for the implementation of the most successful projects.
 
To participate in the programme, candidates must complete an application form on the British Council website by October 23, 2020, 23:59 Almaty time. Selection of applications and determination of programme participants will take place from October 26 - November 5, 2020.
