The British Council in Kazakhstan is bringing to Almaty a production of “iamhamlet” devised and directed by Geoff Church with the Deutsches Theater Kazakhstan (Almaty). Performances will take place at the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan in Almaty (Abylaikhan avenue, 105):

Geoff Church is a director, workshop leader, facilitator and leading practitioner in the field of theatre-based development work. With his company, Dramatic Resources and its sister theatre company hydrocracker he has worked all over the world using an interactive approach to theatre and learning with theatre companies such as the Theatre 503,, the National Theatre, East 15 Drama School and the DTK itself, also with major corporations, including Deloitte, Adecco, Accenture, IMD Business School Lausanne.
Deutsches Theater Kazakhstan
Deutches Theater Kazakhstan offers Almaty residents and visitors a taste of European theatre. It was founded as a way to preserve German culture but has since expanded to become an international theatre company. Its plays are performed in German with simultaneous Russian translations. Like Art&Shock, Deutches specialises in innovative, contemporary theatre in addition to traditional works. The theatre moved to Almaty in 1989.
